sick, AGAIN.. tsk!

this morning, while i was reading the sunday times today, i was attracted and gotta agree to an article. the article is abt NUS Law students felt that their internship with law firms are so called "taken away" or "stolen" by SMU Law students, n apparently, NUS students felt that SMU has affiliations and "reserves" places in these law firms just for their students. when i say internship here, is not only the official internship, but also holidays' internship..

what i wanna say here is that, i just don understand why is that during hols, undergrads are SOO busy wanting to find jobs, and not any jobs, but jobs at big hotshot companies. reason being because, other than gaining experience, is also coz this is s'pore, everyone is so kiasu, wanting to be nothing but the best, fighting n competing, wanting to be in MNCs, big ones at that..

tho i know not all are like that, but i can safely say that MOST are doing it coz of that. and i dont say this blindly, but i see it for myself.. i mean, i don hate this ppl.. n i hv no offence towards these ppl.. by all means, do wat u wan as it's none of my biz.. i mean, common laa.. u're juz gg to enjoy this hols for that 3mths, for only 3-4 yrs, and after that, you're gg to work ur ass of for the rest of ur life, or least until retirement, so, isnt it now the time to enjoy hols? or participate in some CCAs.. i know some ppl, who join a certain CCA, but not committed when they're suppose to, coz they wanna work during the hols.. like WTH! then why the hell join in the first place n trouble ppl? i hv experienced some idiotics doing that.. irritating!

n this is not juz my opinion, but event the NUS' Dean of Sch of Law said so.. during hols n breaks, i/o gg out to work n do internship, he spent his time participating in sch activities.. see! seriously, i don understand.. isn't there life in their live? work n sch is all u think? aiming so highly, money n career, is that all u can think of? at the end of the day, are u happy? hv u really seen the whole world, the other side of the world?

tho i know this is not the case for all, but somehow, that is how i feel.. thats y, when ppl ask me whther im working during the 3mth long break, i juz said "no, i wanna enjoy my hols.."

but then agn, this is individual basis.. different ppl work for different reasons.. the grp that im referring to is those who are too ambitious and wanting to work for experience, making their resume fantastic n bla bla bla.. bluek! sorry, to me it's bull!

ya.. juz ranting coz i super find it irritating.. tsk! but me working now is purely helping my fren, and also earn some pocket money.. n it's juz a data entry job, n it's nt gg to make my resume any fantastical.. LOL!

juz watched vs arashi for this wk n it's soo much love! vs arashi is more n more interesting n im loving it! :) shall talk abt it in the nx post when i can upload the pics coz the bloody blogger isnt gg to upload my pics.. SAD! :(
